"Ugly but Tasty" contest

On November 17, under the FLAW4LIFE project, the Lisbon City Council's Education Department launched the "Ugly but tasty" contest.

This activity, adressed at all students of all Lisbon's public primary schools, which includes writes and illustrating stories, aims at editing a book focused on "Sustainable Food | Healthy Food | Fighting food waste | Consumption of Ugly Fruits and Vegetables".

The iniciative intents to help educating the younger public to creativity and artistic creation and, simultaneously, to raise awareness of sustainable consumption practises, encouraging students to healthy feeding and consuming ugly fruits and vegetables, with the goal of reducing food waste.
